Claire McEntee
Claire began coaching at a young age and held the position of Head Basketball Coach with Lakers; Meeting Special Needs (formally Bray Lakers) for over 25 years. During this time she managed and coached in their academy and Senor Men Div. 1 team with a number of her players being selected to represent Ireland at various World Special Olympic Games.
In 2003, Claire was appointed Assistant Basketball Games Commissioner for Ladies and Unified Basketball for the Special Olympics World Games held in Ireland and had overall responsibility for the running of the Female and Unified basketball competition held in Loughlinstown Sports Centre.
Claire began coaching with Dublin Raiders in 1996. Following a breaking coaching she return to coach Raiders Academy and assisted with U13s girls. One of Claire’s main role in Dublin Raiders is providing administrative support to the club together with coordinating Raiders Camps.
