Ed Randolph

Born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida USE, Ed played basketball from a young age and following high school went Rhode Island on a sports scholarship becoming a leading points scorer for Roger Williams University. In 1982, he moved to Ireland to play for Sporting Belfast.  In 1984, Ed moved to play with  Claremont Admirals where he met his wife Anne.  After playing for a number of clubs across Ireland, Ed settled in Bray with Anne and his two sons Darren and Neil. 

Ed has been instrumental in the development and success of schools basketball in Ireland.  Over the years, he has coached thousands of young players not only in basketball but also imparting words of wisdom on future life skills.  Ed set up Dublin Raiders Basketball Club in 1989 and was the driving force in making it the success it is today.  Ed not only coaches with Dublin Raiders but is also a PE teacher and basketball coach with St. Joseph of Cluny Secondary school.
