John O’Byrne

John has been involved in basketball as a player, coach or administrator for over 30 years. 

As a player he played schools basketball with Presentation College Bray and college basketball with Maynooth University.  Former clubs he played with include Bray Comets, Delta Notre Dame & now he is with Dublin Raiders.

John’s proudest basketball moments during his career to date are:

Coaching Presentation College Bray to win multiple All-Ireland Schools titles

Coaching Dublin Raiders Senior Men’s team to the DMBB D2 league title and 

Coaching my daughters at the Raiders academy.
