Teresa O Sullivan

Teresa, Coach T, started playing basketball at a young age for Loreto Secondary School Bray and Comets Basketball Club. During her time there, she played under coaches Marie O’Toole & Cormac O’Connor who helped develop her into the player she is today and sparked her initial love for the game. Teresa had great success in underage basketball being selected for the Dublin and Ireland U15 Girls Team, where she achieved her greatest basketball achievement, beating England in the final of the Four Nations. Teresa was a multitalented athlete also playing Gaelic for Wicklow where she won an All-Ireland medal. But she knew basketball was her true love and continued playing until she finished her time with the Dublin U17s team where she hung up her boots for a few years

10 years ago Teresa returned to basketball where she rekindled her love for the game, the rest is history. When she moved to Raiders, she could feel a great sense of community and loved every minute of her time there. Teresa has been playing and coaching in Raiders for a few years now and currently plays with our Div 3 Ladies & Ladies Masters and is the beloved coach of the U14 Girls and Div 4 Ladies.
